Spring Break!

Just because we have a week off doesn't mean we have to stop learning!  Make sure your child reads, practices their letter chart, cluster chart and math everyday.  I have attached a picture of our latest math center that the children love!  It is called "Make a Ten".  All you need to do this at home is two packages of plastic eggs and an empty egg carton.  Cut off the top 2 sections and cover from the egg carton.  This will give you an egg ten frame! Next, have your child make ten different ways with the plastic eggs! It is that easy! If they want to, they can draw a picture of their tens, make a number bond or write sentences to go with their tens!   They should know what all of these things are!
